When Apogee's Web Site changed into it's new look, the Prey page also did. The page is now split up into different sections and has new graphics. A new logo for Prey was apart of these changes. It can be seen below:

There is a two page article of Prey in the UK version of PC Gamer Magazine, according to George Broussard. If anyone has this magazine and would like to scan it in, contact me.

Some glow in the dark Prey T-Shirts are being made for Apogee employees and press. In public events, the Prey team will wear these shirts. These T-Shirts are not publicly avaliable, but after the game is out there is a chance of this. Please do not ask 3D Realms for these T-Shirts.

I'm asking if there are any questions about Prey you would like answered in the next version of the Prey FAQ. If so, e-mail me. I'd like to expand on wherever there are questions.

As apart of GameSlice's E3 coverage, they have done a preview of Prey. This preview holds six all new screenshots of the E3 demo. An interesting part of this preview mentions the storyline, "Prey’s current plot has Brave being abducted by higher life forms that are responsible for the creation of the Earth."

The Adrenaline Vault has posted the preview of Prey as promised. This preview includes 12 never seen before screenshots to look at. AV says that Prey is the future of 3D Gaming.

The agreement to having the Prey site on Elite Games has fallen apart, Lon's Prey Page will stay where it is. I guess I better catch up with news updates...

There is now a Japanese version of my Prey FAQ available for those of you who would like to read Japanese instead of English. Yukio Ide is the man who translated the document. He has a page for this FAQ that you can see here. Keep up the good work on the Japanese version!

It looks like Elite Games will have their Prey site up, called "Elite Games' Prey Zone," Friday. This is why there has been a lack of updates here. Phase I of the Prey site is going up Friday, and Phase II at a later date.

Doug Radcliffe, from Online Gaming Review, interviewed Paul Schuytema, Prey's Project Leader. (I saw this on Preystation) Paul answers questions about Prey's Portal Technology, the engine, Talon Brave, and the story. This is a must read.

In an article about 10 games at E3, Prey was one of them. Scott Miller says, "Just more praise heaped onto the project and its next-generation Portal Technology." If anyone has this newspaper, I'd like to get the text from it about Prey.

In Scott Miller's .plan, he also says that The Adrenaline Vault will have a preview of Prey soon. Keep your eyes open for that.

They started with Quake clans, then Unreal "cults" came up, and I knew it would be a matter of time until someone would do this for Prey. Cyric, a Quake Clan now has a Prey division. They also have a webpage. So, the first thing Cyric is going to do is find people to join. You can tryout in a game called, Quake. Next, it's time to battle other Prey clans ("Clan" has been associated with Quake games) in Prey! But wait, we don't have the game yet. We just have to wait a little while - a year and a half - to start playing Prey. Sounds like everything works out good here.

Cyric is just a Quake Clan with the word "Prey" stamped on it. Nothing sets it aside to Prey . This clan can fall under "First Quake Clan with Prey in name."

Officially, there are no teams of battle for Prey (yet). My suggestion would be to wait until one or two months before the release to start putting together true Prey Tribes. Wait until Prey has it's network code in and configured, 3D Realms figures out what Prey will offer, and take it from there.
